Deliciously drinkable wines styled to complement hearty firefighter cuisine

_______________________

With focus on delicious drinking wines that are ideally suited for hearty "firefighter cuisine," we produce Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. Our wines capture the true flavors of both their vineyard heritage and the varietal. The balance and structure of our wines appeal to both experienced and new wine drinkers alike. Founded by Sonoma County vintner and firefighter John Drady, Fire Station Red produces wines that always exceed expectations and deliver pure enjoyment.

Etched & Hand-Painted Large Sized Bottles Available for a Limited Time!

For the first time Fire Station Red is making our large sized 1.5 Litre and 3 Litre bottles available to our friends and supporters! Traditionally, we have made these large sized bottles only for the fire services community and burn programs fundraising projects.

Only 50 of the 1.5 Litre and 20 of the 3 Litre bottles are available. If you would like your bottle customized, please call us at 707.836.5617.

The 1.5 Litre is the 2005 Mendocino County Cabernet Sauvignon and the 3 Litre is the 2006 Mendocino County Cabernet Sauvignon. Both vintages were aged 19 months in a combination of French and American Oak barrels. Showing classic Cabernet Sauvignon character, both wines have wonderful depth of black fruit and spice and a lushmouth feel.

1.5 Litre per bottle: $80.00
3 Litre per bottle: $145.00

2007 Fire Station Red Chardonnay, Sonoma County, Barrel Fermented

2008 Fire Station Red Chardonnay, Sonoma County, Barrel Fermented

This amazing Chardonnay was barrel fermented in French Oak for 10 months and then bottle aged for a full 9 months prior to release. A combination of fruit from 2 small vineyards in the Russian River and the Sonoma Valley, this wine is showing delicious flavors of pear and apple with a rich framework and finishing with crisp, bright acidity. It is drinking beautifully and is the perfect pairing for those Summer dishes where a great white wine provides the finishing touch.

Per Bottle: $18.00

2006 Fire Station Red Cabernet Sauvignon, Central Coast

2007 Fire Station Red Cabernet Sauvigonon, Mendocino County

Dramatic aromatics of bright cherry and vanilla with cassis lead to a long lush palate of blackberry, ripe cherry, and chocolate. A beautiful statement of Mendocino's finest vineyards. We have blended 10% Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon adding depth and complexity and resulting in a wine that impresses like a Cabernet Sauvignon at twice the price.

Per Bottle: $15.00

Five great varietals give this wine its bold complexity and its name. We blended barrel-aged Merlot, Zinfandel, Syrah and Petite Sirah from Mendocino County, with a generous 10% of Napa Grenache to make this a rich and satisfying wine. A deep, rich wine with powerful flavors of dark fruit, blackberry, coffee and mocha. A very long finish.
